Full Time Marketing Assistant

Position Overview

Position Title: Marketing Assistant
Position Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Brand Strategist
Expected hours of work: 8-4, Monday – Friday; no overtime; minimal travel

As Marketing Assistant – a dynamic, fun, and challenging role – you play an important part in assisting the Brand Strategist in keeping our marketing strategies and project moving forward in a timely manner. This in an entry level position that will provide you the skill set to learn how to develop marketing campaigns, evaluate for accuracy and quality, work with a creative team, and expand your creative skills.

Direct Reports

You will work closely with the Brand Strategist, supporting in marketing strategy activities that align with the marketing assistant responsibilities. You will also work closely with the content and design team in managing the marketing efforts for our clients and moving these projects through to completion. You will report directly to the team weekly on project statuses during our priority meeting for the projects in which you manage.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assists Brand Strategists in client communications
    • Manages day-to-day client communications
    • Schedules client meetings
    • Works with client on attaining information and approval of work
    • Monitors priority email to assign work
    • Write and send clients regular (weekly in most cases) project updates/needs
  • Manages tasks in Basecamp
  • Supports strategists to monitor industry trends for new opportunities with each client industry
  • Resolves clients’ concerns
  • Works with outside vendors to expand opportunities for clients and when needed for specific projects
  • Assist and possibly oversee some strategy projects with specific clients

  • Efficient in Microsoft and Apple products

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or 1-year similar experience preferred
